These Terms of Service apply to redeemershelby.com (the “Site”) and assets thereof, the website of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Shelby, NC (“Redeemer”). These Terms of Service set forth the terms and conditions that govern your access to and use of the Site and its contents (such contents, collectively, the “Content”).  This Site is intended for those who are seeking information, interaction or have queries for Redeemer, or members thereof. 

Your visit to the Site is subject to, and you agree to be bound by, both these Terms of Service and our Privacy Statement, which is in a separate document on the site. Either may be amended from time to time. Amendments and updates will be effective upon our posting a notice of the modified Terms of Service or Privacy Statement on relevant  pages. We recommend that you regularly check this page to review any posted updates. Your continued use of the Site after such notice has been posted constitutes your acceptance of the Terms of Service and/or Privacy Statement as revised.

Uses of the Site and Content

Use of the Site

You may use this sight to access information, ask questions and interact (sign in required) with Redeemer.  You may not alter or modify the content of the site electronically or in print, except to comment in the forum section or to fill in forms. You may not remove any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices or legends in copies of the site in any media.

Contributing to the Episcopal Asset Map

You may submit content for the site. You will be required to sign up for a site account for some input. All membership requests will be subject to approval by the Rector, Vestries or other nominated persons within Redeemer. 

By providing Contributed Content, you acknowledge and agree that you own. You grant us (and those we work with) a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual license to use, store, modify, publish, distribute, display and reproduce the content you contribute without compensation or notification.  Your Contributed Content may not violate or infringe the rights of others or applicable laws and regulations, be offensive, harassing, threatening or objectionable, contain a virus or other harmful component, or contain advertising or any commercial or other solicitation.  You acknowledge and agree that Contributed Content that you provide is, to the best of your knowledge, accurate, and that if the information becomes inaccurate at any time, you will revise or submit accurate, updated information as soon as reasonably possible. Failure to follow these terms may result in suspension or removal from the site.

Accounts which Redeemer deems to be bot or spam accounts will be suspended or deleted. If you believe your account has been suspended or deleted in error please submit a request for review to redeemer@redeemershelby.com

 

Our Use of the Site and Content

We have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor and review the Site, and/or Contributed Content or other information provided by you or others, for violations of these Terms of Use or inaccuracies.  We reserve the right to not post, remove, edit and/or reinstate any Contributed Content, at the sole discretion of the Site’s administrators.  We may terminate your ability to provide Contributed Content to the Site at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without prior notice.

 

Links to Third-Party Sites

The Site contains links to, and may be linked from, other websites that are not maintained by us, such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, as well as the websites of Episcopal entities throughout The Episcopal Church.  We do not endorse, have any responsibility for, or make any representations about any other websites.  If you follow links from the Site to other websites, you will be subject to the terms and conditions, and any other privacy or security policies, of such website.

Redeemer and certain other marks displayed on the Site are trademarks and service marks owned by, or licensed to, the Episcopal Church and other Episcopal Entities.  You may not use these marks, or any other of our marks or of any of our affiliated entities, in any manner that could indicate that you own such marks or that they are associated with you or your affiliates, or in any other manner without the consent of the applicable owner.

(including, but not limited to, text, images, illustrations, photographs, charts, data and code) included on the Site is provided by contributors or owned by us, and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property law.
